If you saw “It’s My Baby Now”, “God Must Be Laughing”, “Showtime”, “Soul for the Lord-Body fi miself” or “Bring Back My Bonnie”, you know you’re in for a treat with “Noah”.
You read or listened to the story countless times.
What about the stories behind the story?
TKJ Productions is ready to WOW you with another stage presentation.
“Noah” will provide you with an opportunity to laugh out loud while you receive intense, thought-provoking messages.
“Noah” was written to give some perspective of what Noah and his family experienced during the time just before the flood. The Bible and other sources do not give an account of the day-to-day details of what Noah and his family endured while preparing for the flood for over 100 years; however, with a little imagination, we can get a glimpse of what took place. In my mind’s eye, numerous situations would have unfolded – some comical and others dangerous, threatening the very life of Noah. I can see it now; he’s the laugh of the town. Rain? An ark in the middle of dry land? “I would laugh too”. “The man must be mentally deranged”. “We ought to lock him up”.
The recounting of this story creates numerous comical opportunities; so excuse us while we share the “unrecorded” details of our perspective of the story.
The language used is modern. This was intentionally done to bring relevance to our present time.
The music for “Noah” was created and arranged by Aaron Manswell, one of our young, talented musicians in the GTA. He is currently teaching music at CAA, one of the recipients of profits from this endeavour. TKJ Productions has a history of giving back to the community and has been actively contributing in numerous ways. Sick Kids Hospital has been a repeat recipient of donations from our projects, and we continue to support various charities in our community.
Entertainment is a key component of TKJ Productions, and while we hope you enjoy our attempt to replicate the events of the days leading up to the flood, we also hope you will contemplate the significance of the Third Angel’s Message.
The show will be playing November 22, 2014 at 6:30pm at Apple Creek Seventh-day Adventist Church located at 700 Apple Creek Blvd. Markham, ON L3R 0Y6. Doors open at 5:45pm. This is a free show with donations for Sick Kids Hospital being collected. For more information contact call 416-528-6086 or 905-946-8751. Come out and enjoy the TKJ Production, The Story of Noah.
